Since 2007, after receiving her Masters’ Degrees from Northwestern University, Vridhi has practiced speech and language therapy and remediation for children with learning disabilities in public and private schools, and in the private setting both in the U.S. and in the U.A.E. She specializes in a range of speech and language difficulties such as language delays and disorders, articulation, stuttering, literacy and auditory processing difficulties.
Vridhi is trained in a number of evidence based programs including but not limited to the Orton Gillingham Program, Hanen - More than Words and the Lidcombe program. Vridhi has an additional Master’s Degree in Learning Disabilities, which gives her a unique lens when working with children with language and literacy difficulties.
She uses a team approach and works collaboratively with a child’s family and teachers to provide consistent support across home, school and therapy settings. Vridhi employs a play-based, child-led approach when working with younger children, and actively involves older children in the goal-setting process to promote engagement and ownership in their therapy.
