Since 2008, Vridhi has practiced speech and language therapy and remediation for children with learning disabilities in public and private schools, and in the private setting. She specializes in a range of speech and language difficulties such as language delays and disorders, articulation, stuttering, literacy and auditory processing difficulties.
Vridhi is trained in a number of evidence based programs including but not limited to the Orton Gillingham Program, Hanen - More than Words and the Lidcombe program. Vridhi has an additional Master’s Degree in Learning Disabilities, which gives her a unique lens when working with children with language and literacy difficulties.
She uses a team approach and works collaboratively with a child’s family and teachers to provide consistent support across home, school and therapy settings. Vridhi employs a play-based, child-led approach when working with younger children, and actively involves older children in the goal-setting process to promote engagement and ownership in their therapy.
