Dr. Vandana Bahl is an experienced specialist pediatrician with a global outlook and a holistic approach. She’s an expert in assessment, diagnosis and management of neurodevelopmental and behavioral conditions in children aged 0-18 years.

Dr. Vandana specializes in child development, neurorehabilitation, learning, behavior, psychosocial wellbeing, and nutrition. She collaborates with therapists, other pediatric specialists, nursery and school staff, especially when dealing with complex disabilities. She’s led and worked within multidisciplinary child development teams, and understands trauma informed medical care. She’s passionate about building awareness, understanding and acceptance of neurodiversity within a community, dismantling stereotypes and fostering a more neuro-inclusive culture

Clinical Training & Experience: Dr Vandana trained in pediatrics, child development and neurology at university hospitals in New Delhi, London, Mumbai and Kuala Lumpur. She has 25 years of global pediatric experience with a range of conditions, spanning developmental delay, ex-prem baby follow up, ASD, sensory issues, ADHD, learning differences, cerebral palsy, cleft palate, syndromic & genetic conditions, epilepsy, as well as issues around nutrition, behavioral difficulties and well being.

Standardized tools: Griffith’s and Bayley’s Scales, DASII-2, Schedule of Growing Skills (SOGS). Specialized courses: Prechtl, HANDLE, VBA, NDT, Hanen (observed), feeding evaluation & VFS, dyspraxia and dyscalculia assessments. Therapy & healing : Breath awareness, narrative therapy, somatic experiencing therapy.

Dr. Vandana is fluent in English and Hindi, speaks Urdu well, and can support families in simple Punjabi and Malay.

Passionate about neuroscience across the lifespan, especially through the lens of inclusion, as well as healing trauma. Focused on support for parenting neurodivergent children, NVC, effective well being tools for age 4-24 years, advocacy for children needing educational support, group programs to promote child development & well being, and ADHD in children, teens & young adults.
