Azelia is a bilingual speech-language therapist who has worked in various private practices across Singapore for the past 6 years. Her experience includes working with children with a variety of diagnoses and difficulties, including children with Autism, Down’s syndrome, ADHD, language delays and disorders, articulation and phonological delays and disorders, social pragmatic difficulties, dyspraxia, stuttering, and repaired cleft lip and palate. She has also conducted training for teachers and caregivers to help increase awareness, educate, and provide strategies in how to promote play, language, and communication in children.
Azelia is passionate about the work that she does and providing goal oriented, individualized, and child-centred therapy. She believes in working in collaboration with the families and carers, as this provides a more holistic approach to therapy for the child. It also enables the child’s needs to be met across all communicative environments.
